Amazing!!! I can’t believe I’m already done with my sixth week of the insanity nutrition guide and workout plan. It all seems a little blurry in retrospect. Time has really just flown by with this believe it or not.
Insanity Results for Week Six of the Insanity Nutrition Guide and Workout Plan
Weight: w Hen I checked my weight this morning, I found that, kind of sadly I was back up to 186. I’m not too disappointed however, since all the reading that I have done on the subject about what other people who have completed the program experienced during this time, makes it sound like what I’m experiencing is par for the course. One of the reasons is due to the increased intensity of the workouts, the muscles in the body get a lot more use and abuse, so there tends to be a lot of water weight gain as the body’s response to repairing those muscles. The main reason why the weight gain doesn’t really bother me that much is because as I talked about in my prior update, the inches have been coming off, and the percentage of my body fat has also decreased, regardless of my weight.
Well to be completely honest and transparent, as I will talk about a little bit further on in this review, my diet probably did have a little bit to do with the weight I gained. I didn’t do a real good job following the insanity nutrition guidefood plan this week, and this little bit of weight gain is likely part of that failure.
My Thoughts: As you know I began the first week of the second and most difficult part of the insanity nutrition guide workout plan. Since I was doing so well with the first month, I really had myself convinced that the second month wasn’t going to be that bad and that I was ready for it. A large part of that was because I felt like I had so much energy. In retrospect, it turns out I was deluding myself. I went through the first video at the beginning of the week and then went ahead and completed my fit test, which I did very well on by the way, and I really felt great about myself and had lots of energy. After that, it seems like I fell in a rut and everything started going downhill.
I’m not really sure why, but my energy levels this week have just gone down the tube. It really could just be that I’m mental, or the fact that I wasn’t really putting everything that I had into the more difficult workouts, or possibly that I was just physically drained after all this intense training. Regardless of the reason however, I just feel like I was dogging on these workouts, and it was almost as if I was starting at the beginning of the whole program again. If it wasn’t for the fact that after each workout my clothes were sopping wet, I would almost feel like I wasn’t giving it all my effort. It’s probably just purely psychological due to the overwhelming difficulty that this second section has as compared to the first months exercises. It takes a great deal of effort to make all of these modifications to the moves that you became so familiar with, and then to end up needing to take breaks in the middle of the DVD again just so you can hope to get through it is a little disheartening. There’s also the added fact that I’ve become a lot more aware of my jiggly tummy bouncing around. I don’t remember it being so obviously floppy in the first section of videos, but for some reason now, with all the new gyrations, it has become almost painfully obvious.
I feel like I’ve really been slipping a little bit in a few areas of my life right now for some reason, and I don’t really know how it came about. A felt like I was doing really good with the program and truly “digging deeper” like the maker of the program Shaun T says all the time, and then I just kind of fell off. Everything, including my diet, my schoolwork, my job, and my blogging all took the sideline while I laid around on my bed watching Netflix and ate whatever I wanted. The only thing that I have to show for that type of behavior is that little bit of weight that I put back on and some disappointment in my ability to not stick to it 100%. I really don’t think that it is going to do me any good to blame the feeling of tightness along waistband to that time of the month right now, as it’s likely that more to do with my poor decisions over the last week.
For the rest of the insanity nutrition guide and workout plan, I really have to pull my head out of my butt. If what I’ve been reading is correct, and I’m sure it is due to what I’ve been experiencing, now is not the time to allow myself to slack off at all. The second month is the part of the program where you start seeing a major changes in your body, and I have a sneaking suspicion that if I don’t turn it around and start doing things right again, the results I’m going to see are opposite of what they should be.
If you’ve been following along with me all this time, then it’s likely that you’re getting sick and tired of hearing my rambling on and would rather just have me go to the part where I tell you that this insanity nutrition guide and workout plan is the magic bullet for providing you with the rockhard abs that you’ve always dreamed of. When I started this in depth product review of the insanity course, I wanted to be completely comprehensive and not only point out the good parts of the program, but the bad parts as well, and I did use an affiliate link when I actually linked to the product. It’s not my intention to promote any type of product through acts of deception just so I can make my affiliate check all that much bigger. One of the main reasons I bought the insanity nutrition guide and workout course is because I have spent my whole life being fat, and I’m truly sick and tired of being that way. I don’t ever want to spend another moment of my life as being the big fat lady everyone makes jokes about, and if I can help other people to make smart decisions in their life and to quit being fat as well, then I’ll feel good about that. I know in my heart that if you truly apply yourself to the insanity nutrition guide and workout program, you can do that.
I really have no problem with the idea that this program is incredibly difficult to get through, and it’s really a good thing. This is the way it’s supposed to be if you’re going to get the results that you hope for. In order to get those results however, you’re going to have to actually suck it up and do the work, and a great deal of that has to do with your mental attitude. You have to become motivated every day so that you can step up to the TV and press play on that DVD player, equipped with your positive attitude and workout gear. You also then have to follow the insanity nutrition guide, and not get off-track like I did. I guarantee that if you follow through with everything the program requires of you, that you are going to get the results you want, and if you don’t get those results, you only have yourself to blame. If you finally come to the decision to buy the insanity nutrition guide and workout plan, and actually step up to the plate and do it, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
All of the above is a lot easier said than done, and it’s a lot easier to provide advice than it is to follow through, and I’m living proof of that. The whole time I’ve been doing this program, I’ve had my moments of weakness, but when I kept strictly to my diet and watched my calories perfectly, I would see great improvements in my body. When I found myself slacking off, like this last week, my body shows the results of that as well i.e. a little bit of extra weight gain, lack of energy, and guilt.
I’m not going to be too hard on myself however, since I’ve actually come along way and made the decision to begin. While I have slacked off here and there, and paid the penalties for those slack off times, compared to where I was a month ago, I’ve come a long ways. The insanity nutrition guide workout plan has really helped to enlighten me to the fact that when I try and really put effort into it, I can truly make some progress with my body. This is a big relief to me personally since all of my life I’ve been endlessly on the quest to get the weight off, and have never been too successful at it. It’s especially difficult when you have issues like PCOS, and other problems that affect your ability to lose weight. I really have no doubt that when I’m done with the two months of this program I’m not going to be fit enough to be plastered on the beach body website, but that’s okay with me. I’m just a normal gal like the majority of the other people who purchased the insanity nutrition guide workout plan, and I share the same struggles that they do. What I hope you get from this, is encouragement from the fact that although I have failed in quite a few areas of this, I was still able to drop my body fat percentage and lose some inches from my body in just the first month, and that’s not including results that I will see in the second month, and that you can do the same if I can. Hopefully it will give you the motivation that you need to get started in the right direction and better yourself as well.
I’m going to end this article right now, and put off explaining what the second months videos are all about until next week when I have gone through them again and had a chance to do them the way they’re meant to be done, instead of with the modifications that I have been putting in and all the breaks I’ve been taking. Until next time. Chow
