In my line of work I come across people that have tried many different diets but the overwhelming end result is that the weight that has been lost is soon gained again along with a few extra pounds for good measure.
You don’t have to be in the medical profession to realise that many of these diets are nothing more than a form of starvation and I have come across a few that can only be described as dangerous. This is such a shame because it needn’t be like that and I always remember speaking to a nutritionist here at the hospital who told me that as long as someone eats a healthy balanced diet and a takes adequate exercise they will not only lose weight but they will feel absolutely marvellous in themselves.
